3. Eligibility and Account Requirements
To use our Services, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
If you are booking on behalf of other individuals, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind those individuals to these Terms, and that all information provided on their behalf is accurate and complete. You assume full responsibility for ensuring that all travelers in your group are aware of and comply with these Terms.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when making bookings or communicating with our team. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Booking and Payment Terms
4.1 Booking Process
All journeys are booked through direct consultation with our travel architects. Upon submitting an inquiry through our website or other communication channels, our team will work with you to design a customized itinerary. A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit payment and issuance of a written booking confirmation by Gloventis Journeys.
4.2 Pricing and Payments
All prices displayed on our website are in United States Dollars (USD) and are per person unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. A non-refundable deposit of thirty percent (30%) of the total journey cost is required at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than sixty (60) days prior to the journey departure date.
We accept payment via major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), bank wire transfers, and other payment methods as communicated during the booking process. All payments are processed through secure, encrypted payment systems. You are responsible for any currency conversion fees, bank charges, or transaction fees imposed by your financial institution.
4.3 Additional Costs
Unless explicitly stated in your booking confirmation, the following items are not included in the journey price: international and domestic airfare, travel insurance, visa fees, passport fees, personal expenses, gratuities, optional excursions not specified in the itinerary, meals not specifically mentioned, and any costs arising from personal preferences or special requirements.
5. Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation policies vary depending on the journey type, destination, and timing. Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information regarding cancellations, refunds, and modifications. In general, cancellations made more than ninety (90) days prior to departure may be eligible for a partial refund, while cancellations within sixty (60) days of departure are typically non-refundable.
Gloventis Journeys reserves the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule any journey due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, pandemic-related restrictions, government advisories, insufficient enrollment, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will offer alternative dates, comparable alternative journeys, or credit toward future bookings.
6. Traveler Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that you possess all necessary travel documentation, including a valid passport with at least six (6) months of remaining validity, appropriate visas, and any required health certifications or vaccinations for your destination(s). Gloventis Journeys is not responsible for any consequences arising from inadequate documentation.
You must disclose any medical conditions, physical limitations, dietary restrictions, allergies, or other health-related information that may affect your participation in journey activities. Failure to disclose such information may result in your inability to participate in certain activities and will not entitle you to a refund.
During your journey, you agree to comply with all local laws, regulations, customs, and guidelines provided by our guides and partners. You acknowledge that certain activities involve inherent risks and agree to assume those risks voluntarily.
7. Assumption of Risk and Liability
Travel inherently involves certain risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage or loss, transportation delays, weather-related disruptions, and exposure to unfamiliar environments. By participating in our journeys, you voluntarily assume these risks and agree to hold Gloventis Journeys, its officers, employees, agents, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your participation.
Gloventis Journeys acts as an organizer and coordinator of travel services. We work with third-party suppliers including hotels, restaurants, transportation companies, guides, and activity providers. While we exercise diligent care in selecting our partners, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, negligence, or defaults of any third-party service provider.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gloventis Journeys shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our Services or participation in our journeys.
8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, baggage loss or delay, and personal liability. Gloventis Journeys does not provide travel insurance and is not responsible for any expenses that would have been covered by adequate insurance.

10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with the arbitration taking place in Douglas County, Colorado.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the original intent.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any specific booking terms and conditions, constitute the entire agreement between you and Gloventis Journeys regarding the use of our Services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether oral or written.
